Audio Production Minor
Peter Johanns, Associate Professor and Program Director
This minor provides broad-based knowledge of the theory and practice of audio production. Students learn the scientific and aesthetic aspects of sound, as well as a broad range of audio production techniques applicable to music, theater, and electronic media. Courses are drawn from the Park School, the School of Music, and the physics and theater arts departments in the School of Humanities and Sciences. Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75 in order to apply to the minor, but that does not guarantee acceptance.
This minor is not open to television-radio majors with an audio production concentration; it is open to all other television-radio majors.
