Translation Studies Minor

The Translation Studies minor is designed to complement any academic major. It provides students interested in pursuing translation of written texts as a career or as an area of academic research with the opportunity to acquire skills and experience in the field. Students may choose to translate from French, German, Italian or Spanish into English or vice versa. Completing a Translation Studies minor will position students to engage in freelance work in translation, undertake diverse career opportunities, and prepare for graduate school.
