Communication Management and Design Minor

A minor in communication management and design provides an introduction to the basic principles and practices of corporate communication, communication management, and communication design. Students can focus their learning further by taking courses in event planning and management, information design, crisis communication, leadership communication, and many others. The minor is an ideal compliment to many majors as it focuses on developing an understanding communication for application in organizational settings.

Applications for the minor are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the academic year. Students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 in order to apply to the minor, but this minimum does not guarantee acceptance. Students accepted in to the minor are strongly encouraged to complete an academic plan with their minor adviser.

This minor is not open to communication management and design majors.
