The Office of New Student and Transition Programs coordinates the Ithaca College orientation programs, held in August and January, for new students and their family members. These required programs provide much of the necessary information for incoming students to complete a smooth transition to the Ithaca College community. During orientation students meet with staff and faculty, learn about support services; and resources available to them, and get connected with fellow new students. Orientation sessions are also available for parents, family members, and other supporters. On the College’s receipt of the enrollment deposit, students receive information about signing up for orientation and getting started on their New Student Checklist.
