Biological Anthropology Minor
Lisa Corewyn, Associate Professor and Coordinator
The Biological Anthropology minor is an interdisciplinary program that examines the theories, principles, practices, and applied aspects within biological anthropology, including primatology, paleoanthropology (human evolution), anthrozoology, genetics, and conservation. Students in the minor are required to take an introductory course that reviews the basic tenets of biological anthropology and are then free to choose from ANTH-designated electives. Courses with an AN2 attribute will enable students to expand their anthropological perspective outside of the discipline.
Requirements
Minors are required to take at least 16 credits at Ithaca College.
